when that happens to me i change the codec.......JaddziaDax wrote:u fail roy. >:[ shoo!Dragon/Roy wrote:U have to change the Codec to like DIVX
you should be using lossless sources to make your videos from, if a file doesn't show up it means its a codec that vegas doesn't accept... do the vdub mod thing and recompress it with a lossless codec, that will work

JaddziaDax wrote:open the video file in virtualdub mod go to video->compression->Huffyuv or Lagarith
then go to file->save
use those to mark the beginning and the end of the "clips" you want so you can save room

ah ok maybe I'll do that next time lol,it'll take a while.I got my clips from kh-vids.net since thats the only place I can find decent Kingdom Hearts clips.
I've got another question
Let's say there was 4 piano beats in the music.I have 4 pictures,cut to the shape I wanted.Now I want 1 in each corner to the beat of the music,how would I go about doing that?For just now I've been using the track motion tool to get it in the corners but that means I need 4 layers.Maybe panning it?I know this sounds silly but how do I pan an image to where I want it?I'm kinda confused.
I opened up the Event Pan/Crop window.Then started making the box with the "F" smaller but all it did was zoom in a certain part of the clip and when I moved it,it would only move side to side but not up and down or diagonal..am I using this tool wrong?

Okay, at least I know what went wrong with the video. How slow would it have to be when it starts to jerk like that?JaddziaDax wrote:no motion just ends up jerky when slowed down too muchKumatora wrote:I've finished my video, but for some reason, the video jerks a bit when the footage is slowed down from the original. This only happened when the video was finished and not in Vegas. Did I render it wrong or what? I followed the directions here:

Also, if you haven't already seen my new video, I suggest you should since I give you a special thanks. Also, this is the video with the jerky footage, just to warn you.

then move the box with the F in it around and see how it effects the clip on the timeline

hmm I've been trying to use it but it either goes ONLY up and down or side to side but not up and down AND side to side.Like for the 1 event,I can pan it up and down but not side to side.And for another event it lets me pan it side to side but not up and down! :S help!
Um how'd you flip an event?I don't mean rotate because it turns the event upside down which isnt what I want,it's like a mirror image I want.
