Vegas 7.0 sound quality issues

Post by marthwmaster » Wed Dec 30, 2009 1:14 am

I just finished my AMV, but realized that, for whatever reason, the song I imported to Vegas 7.0 lacks the crisp sound quality it has when I listen to it on iTunes. I didn't notice it before because my speakers suck to begin with, but when I watched the AMV on my Xbox the problem became painfully obvious.

I imported it as an MP3. Does anyone have any tips for improving the sound quality?

Try converting it to a .wav before importing, and make sure it is exported from Vegas as lossless also. After that, it's a matter of how you're compressing it..

How do I make sure it's being exported losslessly?

Export it out with uncompressed, lagarith or huffyuv codecs selected.
