I scan through preprocess footage in vegas. The clips seems to move forward, and then when i press forward the clips go backwards half a second then goes forward again. all my footage is stored on my 5 gb external HD, my Computer has 768 MB of ram i tried shift B it did not work
if anyone has any suggestions please post

? did you "key" every video frame for doing a search of your video ?
