Sony Vegas 7 projects in vegas pro 9
is it possible to open a project, orginally done on sony vegas 7, in vegas pro 9?

I believe so, yes. The only way I don't think it would work is if you tried to open a 9 project file in 7.

Well lets make sure we are thinking of the same programs here since I've seen many a person refer to Vegas products by the wrong name.
By Vegas 7, are you referring to Vegas Pro 7 or Vegas Movie Studio (platinum Pro) 7. The same goes for Vegas 9 which as far as I know is only in Movie Studio Format. If you have the full Vegas 7 (not movie studio) and Vegas 9 IS movie Studio, then I HIGHLY doubt they would work since the Pro series have many more features then the movie studio versions.
