Vegas Effect ???

Post by AngelicFury » Sun Aug 10, 2008 10:43 pm

hmmm I've been wondering how to get this effect for a while testing around in Vegas, at first I thought it was Cookie cutter but the line is too short >_< and I'm stumped ....

So here's the link http://www.animemusicvideos.org/members ... hp?v=15698

Around ten seconds or so short white lines pop up which are timed to the guitar

Take MSPaint or GIMP, Draw a white line, and save it as .png. Load the file into vegas and time it to the footage. :amv:

Man I really wish there was an edit button >_> anyways are there any good guides to the Cookie cutter out there ? cause so far what I can do now is really basic, and effects that seem to be done with CC that I see make me completely confused on how they did what they did .

A lot of cookie cutter stuff you see is Multiple layers of video with cookie cutters that fade and all kinds of shit. I don't really use cookie cutter because it general it looks fucking stupid, but this video pulled it off VERY nicely:
