Need Help - Sony Vegas 8.0

Hi,

for some odd reason my video preview monitor does not display any video fx that i add onto the video track.

is there something that i have to reset? because now i can't preview any my work. it's just plain media w.o video fx even though i have some stuff added onto them.

please help.

Hey, frozentrace.

I have Sony Vegas 6.0, so my layout might be different than yours, but I believe clicking on the button next to "Preview (Auto)" might help. It's square button with a circle in it. It should say "Split Screen View" when you hover over it. Make sure that it's not pressed in and you should be good to go.

Don't use downloaded footage.

Cue the "Don't use Divx/Xvid files in Vegas" banner.
