I was wondering how you fade the scene from color to grayscale...I'm not sure how to explain it, really. I want the scene to keep moving normally, but as it goes on, I want the color to fade away. I've looked at the transitions, and the video effects, and so on, but I haven't spotted anything that will let me do this...maybe I'm overlooking it? A few pointers would be nice.
I apologize if this question has been asked before. I'm relatively new to Vegas. I've read certain parts of the sticky Idiot's Guide to Vegas and it's helped me out a lot, but I didn't feel like scanning through all the topics and numerous pages...I thought it would be quicker to just ask on a new thread. ^-^

notice the red circles, the big huge one represents the diff video effects attributes u can change, the effect im showing isnt b+w but if u want b+W u can change the % of the greyscale u want with it.
newayz underneath theres a bar with keyframes on it. if u set say your first keyframe to 0% greyscale, then set ur last one to 100% greyscale, it will take the entire duration of the clip to turn fully black n white
if u set say ur first and then your 1/2 way along keyframe to normal then last one to 100% black n white only the 2nd half of your clip will have a black n white transition. just play around with it till u get what u like
