iMovie double images

I have been having this problem with almost every single clip that I upload into iMovie, including normal footage from say a camera or something. I didn't always have this problem, but I've already tried reversing whatever I may have changed before (uninstalling Flip4Mac) but that didn't help. At this rate it seems the only footage I can use is DVD footage, which I don't have a whole lot of. Is there any other mac video program that's decent that I can use on a trial basis or somesuch? Or is there any way of fixing this?

Nevermind, I fixed it. Turns out it was a problem with Divx. Mods, feel free to delete this.
