Yeah, there you request the admins to fix the date for you, you have to wait for them to fix it.
Also, most improved doesn't really need to be a rookie, so even if they don't fix it you are still eligible. It's just that if they fix the date, you can also be voted for best rookie, and it is for the sake of having correct info in the database too.
