I think you should see "Making Of" for Nostromo vids. He didn't use effects.

Nuh-uh! Chroma keying, gradient and inverts are totally effects. |:
Not to mention all the awesome visuals from the anime opening he uses. Those are effects! Not his, but effects none the less.

Note that it's Best Use of effects. This means it doesn't have to be ZOMG EVARY TYPE OF EFFECTZ EVARYWHAR! Just that the effects were used effectively (lol).

60 fps is an effect to me XD.

The best kinds of effects are when you spin the camera around and around. And there's only
one video that does that...
