My Latest :3
Hello, I've been making AMVs for about a year, I use Sony Vegas 6 and 7.
Behind These Bloodshot Stars AMV
Anime: Various (7) Kingdom Hearts
Song: Behind These Hazel Eyes
Artist: Kelly Clarkson
Creator: Dogenzaka
Studio: None listed
(BTW: That flashy black and white effect with Kairi walking was NOT supposed to happen. It was supposed to be black and white, but not flash like that XD sorry if you have a seizure)
I need to stop making KH AMVs >_< I always end up under-delivering because I choose a specific theme (hindering my selection of clips)
My problem is, recently I keep making Kingdom Hearts AMVs, and I make them too specifically themed so its hard to gather enough clips that fit my SoKai theme for some of my AMVs XD I'll go back and do some FFAC or Bleach ones.
Please comment! I'm new here :3

I congratulate you! You´ve sucessfully copied the text of your announcement thread into a new thread.
And now you don´t say anything about opinion exchange.
How brilliant! oO
bah... I sound like godix and that´s not what I want. So: This is the exchange forum. People do not ask usually for opinions without exchang. Nearly noone many will give you anything. Do op exchanges in threads or offer also exchange.
Thanks.

but either way if you are up for doing an opinion exchange instead of being a whore and asking for free ops (not gonna happen) i'd love to... the vid i'd like opped is in my sig...
William Blake says "Babies are evil fiends hidden in clouds." Do you really want a baby hater to be in the chatholic church? Vote and excommunicate William Bake.
the confused have hearts too wonder where this came from.

Don't blame me. I'm new here, and you're godretarded members are too stuck up to direct me where to put it.Bauzi wrote:I congratulate you! You´ve sucessfully copied the text of your announcement thread into a new thread.

The people in my announcement thread said to put it here.
They're too picky to watch it on YouTube.
Forget it.

You were willed to do everything we recommended to you so:
Ok I´ll watch it, but... uhm next week (bandwidth in collage screams for my attention)? I´m not sure if I give you an op, because I dislike KH mvs (it´s the fact that it has nothing to do with animes and I made bad experiences with game mvs (videoquality)).
And I already know that the videoquality will suck.
You used WMV3 with 1000kbps and 64.04 kbps wma for audio. It CAN´T look good at 720 x 480 that´s impossible for lame WMV3. WMV9 (I still don´t know why WMM can´t encode in it) maybe reaches it and maybe XviD or x264, but for wmv3 it is simply impossible.
So my question is: Why didn´t you used 2000kbps or more?
*looks in dictionary*
Hey cool I finally know what "retard" means.

I found this one in another thread. If you do this and follow this guide about encoding:you can save in avi dv and then make vxid ... therefore having a high quality output .... and saving ruinage.
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/xvid.html
You´ll get neat filesizes with super quality in an easy way with not much effort.
Don´t forget to compress your audio in VDM:
http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/ ... audio.html
(look at "Using LameACM to Compress your Audio in VirtualDubMod" it should be the easiest way).

how the opinion exchange forum works:
1. its not that we are "above" watching things on the tube site, or that we are too picky or too stuck up... its that the admins of this site want nothing to do with the tube site because it has caused too much drama in the past...
and we perfer not to watch something with lower quality (the tube lowers the quality)... the "comments section" is a terrible place to leave comments on a video.. cause there isnt usually enough room to leave con-crit (not to mention the lowered video quality makes it hard to tell what is good and what is bad) AND some random tube person often times will reply to your comments months AFTER you posted it arguing every point you make... comments should be for the creator alone to respond to imo, not the peanut gallery..
plus if its not listed on this site then how can we leave an opinion on it on this site...
2. when you want to get opinions on your video the best thing you can do is to open up an "OPINION EXCHANGE"...
what this means is that you offer to leave opinions for people who leave you opinions. comming to this forum and just posting an announcement will get alot of people angsty, and rarely have i seen people give out their opinions without recieving one in return....
OCCASIONALLY though I have seen "free opinion" threads, and if you want to try to get one of those you need to:
a. Make sure your video fits the criteria (some people refuse to watch certain kinds of videos, so you should be sure your video fits the specifics..)
b. read the entire thread for any limitations on how many they are giving out, and be sure to count the number of replies in the thread, if your post is an "extra" more than likely the person wont leave you an op, and there is no point in posting/cluttering their thread with extra replies
c. make sure you know what kind of opinion you will be recieving... some people are harsher than others... some people are nicer than others, it helps to check out the entire first post to get a handle on who is leaving you an op, or even check out their avarage scores if that matters to you. the first post can also indicate how long someone's opinion is going to be..
so really this forum is pretty easy:
1. announce your video in the announcement thread then
2. open an opinion exchange to get advice.
3. make new video applying the advice
4. wash, rinse, repeat.

Save this post. You´ll need it for sure again in another thread.
Katie for most helpful 2007?
You can see in profiles how usefull a memeber is in giving opinions. It stands a bit under the profil image under the rest of information. It looks like this (*searches in his profil)*:
Usefulness: 363.2 with 65 opinions

WHOA! that was really something that i needed to read earlier! i didn't used youtobe earlier and i will not start ever now! because i once saw my friend watching FFX vid there, and i was just scared! i mean, how can vid contain such a bad quality? i don't want to be harsh, but after seeing something like that people just will lose all motivation to watch amv ever again. as i read in Phade's post there,i fully agree with him - using youtube will not bring anything good for AMV'ers out here. i think that it should be written in registration page, that subscribing persons account here, using youtube links in this site is not allowed. i maybe said too much about that damned youtube but it really pisses me off...JaddziaDax wrote:1. its not that we are "above" watching things on the tube site, or that we are too picky or too stuck up... its that the admins of this site want nothing to do with the tube site because it has caused too much drama in the past...
