WIP - Untitled Fruits Basket AMV Beta

Hey all,

I have a beta of my latest AMV, its a Fruits Basket vid. It's a KyouXTohru Vid, but its going to be also, a YukiXTohru vid as well. As well as a tribute to my favorite series, Fruits Basket.

This isnt really suposed to have some sort of plot, or story, just a plain, run-of-the-mill Couple/series vid. ^^

This will be focused on effects and alittle beat sync, and mood of the song. I'm also trying to sync to the instuments as well. (by using fades, and effects and such..)

Your beta looks pretty good so far. I haven't seen Fruits Basket yet. Well since your goal is to be focused on effects and alittle beat sync, and mood of the song, you're doing what you are set out to do so far in this amv.

*The distortion effect at 0:23 caught me off guard.
*Then you have really good beat sync all the way up to about 0:47 where the last scene drags out. You have the rythm down on the symbal crashes through out the whole video and then here there is nothing on those beats.

*The video has a wide range of emotions in it. It goes from a determine person to some one ticked off, to someone happy and then to some one upset (crying), then concerned, then back to happy and relaxed. Which is good because it shows the many emotions involved in a relationship. The inverse glow I think is a little cheap to use. You may want to try a pulse effect on some of the symbal crashing.

So far this is pretty good. I've seen some of your works in the past and I think this could be your best if you keep it up.

Nice work so far. By the way what type of compressor did you use to get that nice of quality. I'm starting to have trouble with TMPEG and VirtualDub is being retarded on me. I'll pm you my beta of Sending Freedom later on tonight so you could have a look at it if you want to.

For the comment about the Inverse effect:

Yeah, that was something I added on impulse, I need to use a wide range of effects that'll look nice, and not tacky. As for using a "pulse" effect, hrm, never tried it...hehe. xD

It does look good, and you say you have seen some of my work? Oooh, why thank you for checking out my works. Its real amazing how my AMV editing skills have progressed in a real short time.

As for that beta thing, sure, I will take a look at it.
