W.I.P Beta

Post by Bote » Wed Aug 25, 2004 5:04 pm

Hmm, I need some feedback for this. Something short to tell me whether I'm on a right track. Thinking about to make the whole vid look like this (of course it'll be in a different way) and not use any anime, but rather make everything myself. Took me a week to animate all this.

Don't mind the quality I tried to make it as small as possible. I just need info about the colours and shapes (whether they look cool, good or suck :P).

I've seen stuff like that before, and it's pretty cool... but you have to pull it off right.

You started off nice, but those swirly things circling like 4 times in a row? That just gets boring.

If you can make it more unpredictable, I'd enjoy it, yeah.

Yes I didn't pay much attention to particle motion and I was thinking of changing their shape maybe after every 5 secs. :o Idea...*runs back*

It starts very strongly. But about a third of the way through it seems to lose it's sense of originality and ends up repeating itself until about the final four seconds.

That said the opening third and final four seconds are very good and show real imagination and flair. The rest of it needs something a little more positive, perhaps not a lot more, the music isn't at its strongest at that point.

But with a little work and an extra minute or three I'd enjoy watching this.
