D2lod has nothing to do w/ AMVs! Opinion Tourney.
Okay, so bnet ladder is resetting. The good news is that everyone starts on a clean slate, so here's my idea (feel free to op it):
If you're into D2LOD or you want opinions on your videos and is willing to do anything to get one or two or as many as there are ppl who apply for this tourney, sign up, and install D2lod.
The players will make characters in Hardcore mode, all untwinked (no gear exept those found while lvling the characters are used). They will team up and lvl till each is lvl 9. Once they are lvl nine, they will return to town, where an unknown process will take place to find out who faces off with who.
If you die before you achieve lvl nine (that's pretty sad), you won't be competing. However, you wills till have to write 1 op for the ultimate winner.
The tourney will proceed. If you lose, your character dies, you will have to write an op for oen of your opinions videos. If you win, you proceed to the next match. You don't have to write an op.
The tourney will continue till only one person is left. That person recieves one opinion from everybody that participated including anyone that died on the way to lvl 9. That's eight opinons right there.
In the case of ties, where both die during a duel, they will write one op for their opponent and one for the final winner. If this happens during the last duel, both players will write one op for the other. Everyone else will still have to write one op, but they may decide on which player to write tha op for.
Discuss. Ideas for the duel process is needed. Also, if this is in the wrong section, I'd be grateful if the Mods move it to wherever it may be concerned.

Nah.

Come on, Lyrs, if we both participate you know it'd just be us two in the end.
And you don't even have any videos for me to op.
I would actually participate, but if I were to lose I wouldn't be able to op any videos due to the fact that I can't watch videos on my computer.

Kusoyaro: We don't need a leader. We need to SHUT UP. Make what you want to make, don't make you what you don't want to make. If neither of those applies to you, then you need to SHUT UP MORE.

It's really not that complicated if you're familiar with Diablo 2.
It's basically an iron man competition. You level a character on the new hardcore ladder until you reach level 9. Once you reach that point, you duel the other surviving players in a tournament. If you lose, you op a video of who you lost to. If you win, you proceed to the next round and don't have to write an op. The ultimate winner gets a video of theirs opped by every other player.
If you die before level 9, you can't compete but you still write an op for the ultimate winner.
