Yeah, its really an acquired taste. Been listening since I was in sixth grade, and when you start liking it, you really can't stop.

Some transparency, in case people wonder why it takes me so long to finish an opinion, I'll explain my process so far with Destinee's AMV:

I watch the video multiple times in multiple ways, and with various gaps of times between viewing.

For instance, I have now watched this AMV on my LG monitor and my projector, with my Bose speakers. I watched it three times on the LG, and once on the projector. I am currently watching it on my MacBook Pro laptop screen. This allows me to account for differences in viewing experiences across multiple forms of hardware, so I can be sure an issue isn't on my end. Likewise, I will listen to the audio source on my onboard speakers, and though I haven't done it yet, my Sony MDR headphones I use for editing.

Time gaps allow me to compare how I feel about reviewable in comparison to my initial impression. Did I enjoy the video as much as the first time I saw it? Do I enjoy it more? Have I seen something I didn't see before? Is this a one trick pony and unlikely to stay in my collection?

Thus it can take quite a while to complete an opinion, because I want it to be a representation of my overall viewing experience, and not just an off the cuff impression.

Hey Kionon. Long time no talk. Since when did you become a mod? Damn, I've been gone a while. I know the next round hasn't started, so I'll wait, but are MEP's allowed? Was thinking about Putting in CascadaThon 3 into the que, since we are starting work on CascadaThon 4 in the MEP section. Wanted a little exposure to maybe get some more people wanting to participate.
