Hay dont worry about it. The codec is xvid. THis is about the second time it has happened so no big deal.
Oh yeah to tell the truth the other person had to go to doom9.org and download the codec before it would work. Guess that means ill have to start using another codec from now on. Ummmm any ideas on what i should use?

MPEG-2, maybe. Personally, the only reason I use MPEG-1 is to make smaller versions that can fit on my university webspace, and for maximum portability. And of course, the preferred format for conventions is MPEG-2. Anything I'm going to send to the Donut gets done in DivX-compatible XviD; as far as I can tell, MPEG-4-based encodes give you better quality for comparable filesizes.Toji Fujawara wrote:That is what i planed on using in to encode my next vid.
