LET'S PLAY DEAL OR NO DEAL

Post by genestarwind21122 » Wed Mar 29, 2006 9:40 pm

Okay here is how it works. I'm going to ask you to op one of my most recent amv's in my sig. And we'll play a little game called Deal or No Deal. I have hear at home 26 flash cards face upside down in front of me. You pick one of them and that will be yours to keep.

Prizes are

1-XS op (50-100)
1 Small op (100-200)
1 Medium op (300-500)
1 Large op (500-800)
1 XL op (800+)
Small Medium and Large go up to 6 of them at most or the grand prize of 7 XL ops.

You want to pick the card or number that you think has the 7 XL ops and that will be removed from the board and yours to hold on to. Then you open up cases. First time around 6, you want to avoid the big numbers. After that the banker will offer you a certain number of ops. You can take that offer or you can say no deal and press your luck. Then you have to open 5 more cases, then 4, then 3, then 2, then 2, then 1, then 1.

Well with that said "Deal or No Deal"

Oh and if I owe you an op which I know I owe people please pm me and I'll get to them asap. I appologize with college work backing me up. I'll get them up since I have some free time.

Please only one person at a time. And we will meet in the IRC chat room to do this. So let me know when you log on to the IRC just send me a message there and we will play our game.

Also this is the prize break down when you count the words that will be given per op. So your game board looks something like this...

50-100 (XS)
100-200 (S)
200-400 (2S)
300-500 (M)
300-600 (3S)
400-800 (4S)
500-800 (L)
500-1000 (5S)
600-1000 (2M)
600-1200 (6S)
800+ (XL)
900-1500 (3M)
1000-1600 (2L)
1200-2000 (4M)
1500-2400 (3L)
1500-2500 (5M)
1600+ (2XL)
1800-3000 (6M)
2000-3200 (4L)
2400+ (3XL)
2500-4000 (5L)
3000-4800 (6L)
3200+ (4XL)
4000+ (5XL)
4800+ (6XL)
5600+ (7XL)

Okay so that's how it breaks down and the order of small to the largest prize.

Good luck

Honestly, it's your usefullness score and reputation that's going to suffer if you're qualifying your power to gve useful opinions based on some abritrary length. Either give it your all or don't bother doing it at all. A longer Op is by no means more useful to the reciever if you're just padding words on or streaching sentences with needless redundency. It's the quality of information you give out that's important.

Also if you win you can take for example 6 Medium ops and get 3 long detailed reviews in return. So basically you can get what type of review you want if it falls into the number of words in that range.

It's a Kikyo Tribute from Inuyasha.. A first AMV, lots of room for improvement, but.. I've judged a few contests before and think it's decent for a first AMV... =)

#AMVs doesn't tell me much.. IRC has a few thousand networks - not sure which one the channel's on... Does the .org have its own, perhaps, that I don't know about?
