How do I make this Awesome Transition Effect in Sony Vegas 8

Hey how do I make this effect that in strt of the video everywhere it's like a Transition but it's an effect!

I think that person is using New Blue fx. He is using the roll and zoom transitions, but I am not really sure though.

Glow + Directional blur and just panning the clips.

there are like SO many plug-ins on SV9 and I have no idea how to use any of them properly. they're just gathering dust

I'm just stuck using the VFX..

You don't need them. You can do 99% of what you want without them just fine.

what Niotex said, besides, a real editor can make an awesome AMV even without all those funky plugins/effects. good luck.
