Anyhow....
First off, "Symphony For The Devil" by Pig (a.k.a Raymond Watts, KMFDM fame). I like Pig a lot. His smooth (sensual, even), British tinged vocals and demented lyrics make him a better industrial vocalist than everyone's (?) favorite industrial styled crybaby, Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails fame, in my opinion (which is always correct, chumps - Basil can vouch for this). Anyhow, this song's title track is pretty much what it says - an industrial symphony for the devil. Do the lyrics make sense? Not really, but who said awesome music has to? I can almost envision this song in an opera or symphony house. Some caveats that may turn some people off - the song is some 12 ass kicking minutes long, and Pig isn't the easiest guy to download if you're looking for a listen. Quite worth it, though.
Next up, "Standing" by VNV Nation. Probably one of the saddest songs from one of the most manic-depressive sounding music groups (not just electronic) I've ever heard. Very pretty, slower paced techno instrumentals. This song is not sad so much because of the vocals, but more for the underlying tone of desperation and giving up in the singer's voice. Quite depressing and upbeat in the same instance, if you did that thing from time to time.
Finally, if you're thoroughly depressed from VNV Nation, there's "Chu Natsu Party" by 3nin Matsuri (of apparent Japanese uber-girl group, Morning Musume fame). Jpop is quite often fueled by "teh kawaii!!1!", as it were, and this song could pretty much kill any competition in the cute category. Which says a lot, I guess.
