Rage against HP

Post by Quu » Tue May 06, 2008 12:58 pm

mainly I am pissed at HP's Loadrunner, and their VUgen tool. Well, not really the tool, more the java based script that I need to add a directory to the path before java begins. If this was just a simple shell script, this would be easy, but instead we use this big Performance Center website to manage them all, and I can't add a freaking directory to the path with out manually doing it to every single injector.

for 99.999% of you, it won't matter

for the 0.001% of you who use Perf Center, I am sorry.

HP has actually done some really sweet stuff for me, so I can't complain. Granted, there are a few things here and there that are questionable, to say the least, but typically there's an easy way around them, and then I don't have to worry. :)

Is it strange that I thought this thread was about some sort of strange Rage Against the Machine cover band?

My mind was on the same wavelength.

So yes.
