Recommended Non-Anime Movies
Old or new, suggestions? I just need to stop rewatching the same stuff that I already know is good because I hate sitting down to a movie and realizing it sucks twenty minutes in.

Depends on what you're looking for. What's your preferred range?
I'm personally a fan of European stuff, classics really; but considering my favorite genre hovers somewhere between German historical dramas and Tarkovsky, I'd say I'm certainly not in a very popular range

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

On second thought, I should probably join the original thread request and watch things carefully. I'm so under-watched in a lot of the more popular American/English/Asian stuff recently, it's not even funny.

Some of my Top movies
- Requiem for a Dream
- Pi (both by Darren Arronofsky)
- Kung Fu Hustle or better yet Shaun of The Dead for some comedy
- Most Tim burton stuff... but Big Fish often gets looked over... good old fashioned Fairy Tale with a burton Twist. Mars attacks was always great.
Akira Kurosawa stuff, especially some of the old stuff was amazing. Yojimba, 7 Samurai,
Falling Down. love it.
ohh Thank you for smoking ... a very intelligent comedy... you don't see those much anymore. Makes me sad.
Classic Mel brooks films like Blazing saddles Young Dr. Frankenstein Space balls Men in tights.
Thats all i can think of for now, I'll be lurking this thread though I'm always looking for more cool movies to watch.
