Philip Glass, and the Koyaanisqatsi trilogy
I went to see Spirited Away with my friend BigshotSpike last weekend, and we saw one hell of an awesome preview before the movie for an upcoming sequel to a 3 part trilogy, called "NAQOYQATSI". With the great minimalistic music of Philip Glass (I'm not much for minimalism beyond BoC, but man...this guy is a genius). Anyway, I did some research on the movies before it called Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi, and I was wondering if anyone's ever seen them. EK, how about you? You seem to be engrossed in far underground or obscure things.

I'm not too familiar with Philip Glass, but I do enjoy Steve Reich a lot. I love mallet instruments, and his pieces with marimbas and xylophones are strikingly beautiful, and no doubt really influential to electronic musicians today.
If I'm not mistaken, you're thinking of The Fast Runner.kthulhu wrote:Isn't it based off an Inuit story or something?
