Since this is an opinion forum let me be the first to shed my opinion to everyone.

Burn in hell all those rappers and techno creaters. Learn to create real "music " and then you can be welcomed back into society.

I really don't have an official all-time favourite ... I have a tendancy to like anything from all genres, like country, metal, pop, classical, hip-hop, techno, new-age, and even tribal and other ethnic melodies and stuff like that ... basically, any kind of noise that can be formulated as some kind of song. Heck! If some kid next door can bash on a trashcan in a synchronous way, I might use my imagination and create the rest of the song in my head.

As with picking a band, it would take me ages just to pick just one band or artist.

However, I mostly listen to J-Pop and J-Rock but I'll scrummage around other collections and listen to them, too, if I'm looking for something different or some kind of idea.

My favorite band: ALICE IN CHAINS

Why? Because for me their music is not to hard and not to soft making it just right. Thus allowing it to follow the ancient aristotle philosophy that "moderation is the key to happiness".
