Black Metal = Only the GREATEST form of music ever created!!
True, so very very true. Samael is my favorite black metal band, and others that I really like are Immortal, Marduk, Darkthrone, Old Mans Child, Arcturus, Hypocrisy, Aeon, Impaled Nazarene, Sadist, Satanic Warmaster, Dimmu Borgir, Cradle Of Filth (Yeah yeah), and many others. How bout j00?

I' m just boggling at the omission of Bathory, Mayhem, Burzum, Dissection, Emperor, Sigh, Dark Funeral, Entombed, Absu, Nokturnal Mortum, Rotting Christ, Noctuary, and Enthroned from your list (Bethlehem, Graveland, Judas Iscariot, Abigail, Summoning, Vlad Tepes, Primordial, Kekal, and Ulver are forgivable through obscurity), as well as the contention that Hypocrisy are somehow a black metal band. If Hypocrisy was lblack metal, why would The Abyss ever have been formed, much less released an album?
It should also be mentioned that black metal has a fair number of pedestrian and/or boring bands; those that I've encountered include Wind of the Black Mountains, Black Funeral, Dawn, and Nebular Moon.
And, of course, there's bands in the genre like Cradle of Filth that make me want to kill my stereo, Hecate Enthroned who make me want to kill the involved musicians, and Halo of Thorns who make me want to kill myself, and not in a good way.
Viking metal is another story. I've yet to hear authentically bad viking metal; the closest has been some of Einherjer's stuff, but they've put out some amazing material as well. Try: Enslaved, Allegiance (rhythm section is the same as Marduk), Borknagar, Kampfar, Fenris, Mithotyn, Storm, Vintersorg, Bifrost, Otyg, and maybe Amon Amarth, though they're more death-viking.

Shin Hatsubai is a Premiere-free studio. Insomni-Ack is habitually worthless.

Dumb subjective-passed-off-as-objective statement.
Decent music form, but I won't agree with anyone who claims OMG TEH BEST0R EVAH!!!!1111
Please be more reasonable if you want more people to agree

The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I'm with Kai on this, there are tons of great black metal you left off... though I feel Dark Funeral has gone downhill, especially with their last album.
And I'd peg Vintersorg as more Folk Metal than Viking, because he doesn't actually play music about vikings but astrological and natural stuff... Same goes for Borknagar, especially on Empiricism but they're just melodic black metal and not folk metal.
On a side note: Did you guys hear about Varg (Burzum) escaping from prison because he said someone threatened his life. He then held up a family in a car at gun point and tried to get away. He was caught, especially since he was so close to being released. It's also making the government there rethink their policy on prisoner safety and such. He's also given up all that neo-nazi nonsense that caused him to stop doing metal.
The joke here being that if he did get out, do you think he'd join Dissection?

Yeah I did leave off a few like Sigh, Emperor, Moonblood, and some others due to my being a dumbass, and would the band Tiamat be considered black metal? I dont think so, more like doom/goth metal, but they kick ass as well. Yeah, I dont like Cradle Of Filth that much, but they have a few ok songs so yeah.
