Electric Prunes: Any Good?

I saw a CD by a band called the Electric Prunes in a local used CD store today. The name intrigues me, and I am tempted to get it just because the band name intrigues me. However, I think it would be more prudent to research them a bit before plunking down the cash.

So... any thoughts?

Electric prunes, eh? I wouldn't eat 'em off a silver spoon. Unless, of course, I wanted to steal the spoon using my mouth in order to sell it... in which case, I might eat them on accident.

They're ok. I Had Too Much To Dream Last Night is a psych classic, but most of the rest of their music is mediocre at best, awful at worst. Not to mention they pissed me off by dropping out of a music festival that I was putting together at the last minute...

Yeah, I managed to download a couple of their songs, and I'm pretty much sharing the impression that they don't do much for me thus far.
