Well, the internet was honestly better back then, even though it was worse. Less commercialized. A lot more fun.

Yup youtube was fun when it first started like 2005-2010.. then things change for the worst when they decided to shift from a community oriented to a business focus community.... they killed off good amv editors by termibating a lot of accounts...

I am trying to avoid youtube or minimize youtube nowadays.. Thank God ...Bilibili TV is a good alternative youtube like community

Limewire. I had so much memories with that one. I'm gonna miss that site..

Those memories are like a double edge sword to me. On one hand, I miss the days when I would post a video on a forum, and come back the next day and see pages of replies. On the other hand, having to pay for hosting and dealing with bandwidth was not fun. Using P2P to download music was nice back then, but being able to go on youtube / spotify / soundcloud and find a song and listen on any device is really awesome these days....hmm the more I think about it, I don't miss those days...I only miss being popular lol

I've been puttering around since the olden era.

I am now 36 years old and I work a great job at my dream job. I own my own home. And I still have adventures.

Oh, those were days alright. The good, the bad, the cringe. I come back here every now and then to relive them, reading old posts and whatnot. Only AMVs I watch nowadays are ones from back then to reminisce of those days. Nostalgia is hellova drug.

Yeah, I definitely remember those days. And sure there are some things that are nice nowadays, but I really like not just AMV's from that time better, but really anime and entertainment as a whole!
