Stories have totally destroyed everything that my uncle and 2 generations of grandparents have had knowledge of over the last thousand years. Something always told me that no one would find them for they never left us; ever know that something wasn't right but you never knew why, it was the glass dome that split releasing the flood into the city that always bothered me!
Visualize 3 floors of dome'd glass being a window onto the ocean from 3 levels of caves with access to land and sea level via a winding staircase and you'll have an idea of what my great-great grandparents had drawn all those years ago.
It wasn't that Atlantas sunk, the dome broke and nobody thought to look for Glass; the worlds first aquarium ... well, why should they, who knew what glass was back then - LOL. yup, what my 200 years ago grand parents treasured all these years was simply the glass from that dome.
( its' ago was varified by something they couldn't test for 40 years ago, the lack of pollutants in the glasses center itself. - I didn't know that kind of test was possible! )
... The only reason it is being mentioned today is because THAT PIECE OF GLASS fell off of the shelf by my nieces tossing around things in a pellow fight. Oh well, it possibly never mattered to anyone anyways.

Re: Atlantas - finally .... Broken
From the topic title, I thought Atlanta had another bad winter and got locked up in traffic again.
