Re: The Happy Thread
A little over a week ago, I royally screwed up with the Eon Ticket, as documented here.
But after going for my walk this afternoon, I got it again. I saved this time, multiple times (like I usually would). So I no longer have to worry about it.
I didn't even have Omega Ruby in my 3DS at the time. I was leveling up the neglected one-off O-Powers in X last night, and forgot to switch it before I went out today. So it's smart enough (I assume since OR was in my Streetpass Data Management) to pick up the Ticket for your ORAS copy even if you don't currently have it in the console when the Streetpass occurs. Good to know.

Re: The Happy Thread
Been awfully sick since Sunday - fever, swollen sore throat, coughing, congestion, migraine, the whole works. So I went to the doctor today and was there for two hours while they poked and prodded me. They did a physical exam, took about a dozen vials of blood, did quite a number of tests, lung function tests, EKG, etc and asked me the same questions several times.
It was a little overwhelming because I had 5 doctors in the room with me at the same time at one point, doing tests and whatnot. I was a little out-of-it anyway, but the gist of it was several infections, one was sinus, one was a thyroid infection (Not 100% on this, she said it really fast with the name of what was wrong and what she was prescribing while another doctor was giving me a shot). Something also was causing my blood pressure to spike dangerously high so they gave me some blood pressure meds and I have to come back for the bloodwork results to really see what's up.
That being said. Why is this in the happy thread? Because I have health insurance now and I was making it rain with my $15 copay. Normally, I'd just tough it out and be a big girl until it blew over, but I'm really glad that I'm now in a position where I don't have to.

Re: The Happy Thread
I'm getting payed about 20% extra for a job I recently finished because apparently it was very well done despite the close deadline I was given, and they thought it'd be appropriate to increase my pay accordingly.
TBH more than the extra money (which is surely nice), I'm glad to see that people whom genuinely value the work and effort of others exist.
