In grade school I played a trumpet. In high school I faked playing a trumpet. My teacher didn't even bother auditioning me for chair placement. Another kid who wasn't auditioned tried claiming last seat but I pulled rank on him. I was the senior damnit, I got last chair. Is that close enough to being a musician to post?

Me, too. ^_^; During the sermons. I felt bad, because all of the ministers were quite nice and I sat up front so it was probably really obvious. But for the first few years, I had a bad habit of only sleeping 1 or 2 hours a night because I was constantly on ICQ.

Haha, wow, I guess my dad wasn't as much an exception as I thought.

He will also tell you that he "worked in a church" for several years, and as I already mentioned he's a musician. The weirder thing is that he also attended their seminary and was certified as a pastor (and even preached while the main minister was away), and yet today he's pretty much die-hard atheist.

I, too, had my share of 'religious experiences', having obviously gone to my dad's church regularly and then of course my high school was catholic, and that still didn't work on me.

We need to start a club of unconvertables or something
