Welp, after 2 interviews and a few online tests, I was just given an offer today to work for an IT outsourcing company. It's a modest pay raise from my current rate, salary, but it comes with full time employment, lots of room for advancement (one of the guys I interviewed with had jumped to nearly the top of the company in 5 years since he started), full benefits, and the opportunity to learn, practice on, and implement real enterprise level networking equipment. The biggest plus however in all of this is that they are completely flexible with their schedules such that I can continue taking classes without them interfering with my work schedule.
All in all I'm super stoked. But, since I am currently at the office I can't let myself get carried away. Now starts the unpleasant part of all of this: filing my termination notice....
So have a drink! They're on me... in a metaphysical kind of way.....
