1. True. The Myth of Sisyphus is one of my favorite essays, and I have works by Kierkegaard, Heidegger, Nietzsche, and Sartre. Not that I've read them all, but that's more from laziness than lack of enthusiasm. Hell, I even tolerate Matrix Revolutions' existence because I feel that the ending exchange between Hugo Weaving and Keanu Reeves is a good Q&A on existentialism.
2. False, but just barely. I was in something like the 52nd percentile of my class, and this was with a 3.55. I imagine my low standing in my class was counterbalanced by the fact that I was enrolled in nearly all the top-level courses and that I'm not some dunce who memorizes without learning.
3. True. I'm actually not allowed back into my local library because I more or less stole this book from them. When I first read it at twelve years of age, I figured it was as presented - a book for adults that got abridged into a book for kids. As I got older and read it over and over, I began to figure out what it was really about - the deconstruction of childhood fantasies while growing up, and then the reconstruction and preservation of them in the adult world.

Rice wins this round!
1. TRUE! Well, he never went to the doctor but the next morning after we sobered up it was pretty bruised and hurt for over a month. So i'm guessing it was break, but a mild one.
2. FALSE! The only carbonated beverage i really like is beer. And i don't really have a abnormal love for it. Well, not more then most people anyways.
3.Tis true, I've seen a few I think, but never actually met them.

Have you read the morgenstern original? I've only read the abridged one (I dunno if the other is even possible to find) but ever since I've wanted to check out the original. (despite how much I totally love the Bill Goldman version)inthesto wrote: 3. True. I'm actually not allowed back into my local library because I more or less stole this book from them. That's exactly the thing: there is no original. Simon Morgenstern is just a pseudonym for Goldman himself, the country of Florin is entirely fictional, and even details about Goldman's life are made up (he's not divorced, and has two daughters rather than a son).
All the abridgment notes and cut outs from Goldman's "life"? That's all part of the story.
Now read the book again knowing that, and watch the entire point of the book veer in another direction.
