I've heard this story before, and this is not the time and place for it. Frankly, on one hand, I can see you're generalizing and stereotyping. I've seen enough movies and other entertainment with minorities playing all sorts of roles in them.

On the other hand, if you don't see them in something, why do they have to be everywhere?

This is just generalizing and going to extremes again. Were Disney, anime, and other screen entertainment to form wrong views of minorities in everyone, I'd probably be a flaming racist. But I'm not.

Again, this is not the time and place to have this discussion.

why not? its about disney, aint it?

and im not talking about lack of blacks in lizzy mcguire. im talking about walter disney. and really, its not all THAT hard to believe considering this is a time were it was considered moral degradation to invite a black person to eat at the same table with you. he was just on the band wagon.

but because he's such a cultural icon, that means that theres a whole population that cant identify with him because... HE HATED THEM! this is what makes people feel disenfranchised.

You could maybeunderstand if everytime you turned on a tv you were plagued by stereotypes and misinterpretations of your culture.

You fucking cunt. Do you turn on the TV and see cartoons where the blacks only play sports(Recess, Kids Next Door), or have to watch undercover racist use your slang referring to it as Ebonics and laughing it about it.

Anytime is good time to talk about the unbalance of life, because it's fucked up and should be addressed, could be addressed but never fucking will. It's funny the only oscars won by blacks were for roles as a loud mouth football player, a dirty cop, a crack whore, and a driver for a old white lady.

And Ebonics is the correct, official name for the African American dialect of English, recognized by linguists everywhere.
