As someone whose job it is to keep fourteen year olds from being completely out of control, I can assure you I have seen some pretty crazy things on a regular basis. If you think there is a filter that keeps teens from acting like morons, aside from maybe ritalin, I can't think of what it could be.

And, actually, yeah, this entire thread is a bit on the playground side, sorry to say.

Yeah, last time I checked the org is hardly the most serious business, sophisticated place on the net.
I never intended this to be a serious thread, it was merely a stupid little poke at a VERY annoying situation. And as you can see from others responses, I'm not the only one who feels this way.

He's 14. You guys, hopefully, are adults. Act like it. Put him on ignore, but all jokes aside, including my own, let's not try to trap him and then pat ourselves on the back for a job well done because he "deserved" it. If the ops feel he is that much of a problem, then I think he should be told to limit himself to a certain number of lines in a row in a given period of time. He gets three warnings. After that, he gets kicked. The "fourth" strike is a banning. No warnings at all. Even at 14, he should be capable of understanding such a clear cut rule.

The general opinion of the channel is that he will indeed deserve a "fourth" strike by his own actions, and as such he will receive a ban due him, and everyone can feel that their ethical guidelines have been met and they are not acting like some overblown high school clique trying to find a way to punish the handicapped kid.

The kid has told me previously that he has ADD. Try to either ignore him or politely and with tact explain your feelings to him. You can even ignore people on the forum now if that helps at all...

ADD is no excuse. I was diagnosed with it and never acted like this.

I did however have a long talk with him on the IRC. he's turning 16 next month which really means there is no excuse for immaturity either. He also told me about how much he regrets his old Chii worshiping phases and how he used to act and he said he's going to really be better. As much as I doubt this i'm going to give him a second chance so whatever.
