So I just installed TF2 and I'm playing on my roommate's account when he's not on. Interesting game.

Speaking of this, It's absolutely amazing how much my Capability at that game goes up and down Some times i'm kicking so much ass. Then other times I couldn't snipe for the life of me...

I wonder why this is......

Yea.. I notice that.. I think it's just the group of people you end up playing with... one group three guys practically won the game within a few minutes all the time... Must play a LOT to be that good

Ironically, when I think I'm gonna really suck (i.e. I haven't played TF2 for two weeks and am just coming back), I seem to do surprisingly well. When I think I should be doing well... shit happens.

Sadly, don't think there's gonna be much TF2 for me for the next two weeks

Same here. Sometimes it is just the team I'm with, but other times . . .

This sounds like me with Street Fighter. I'll put down the game for a few weeks, and when I randomly pick it up again, I'm at the top of my game. I don't miss combos, I punish every missed move, and I'm a beast on wheels (until the players who are actually good put me in my place). On the other hand, after playing for a week, I'll just forget how to do moves entirely and opt to drool on my stick instead.
