Isn't Skittles made by Nestle?? Are you poor Italians also deprived of such Nestle products as Mars Bars and Watchamakalits??

Re: Food from around the world
k wachamacallit is made by hersheys, nestle is a french company and skittles is made by mars as are mars bars
so it's hersheys vs nestle vs mars. I'd think the french know their chocolate so I'm a little partial too nestle

Mars is common over here. Skittles can be found in a few "autogrills" from what I've heard. They tried to bring them over a few years ago but never had a big success so not many supplies now. As for wachamacallit... first time reading the name.

This reminds me of when I was a kid and some family friends of ours came to visit from Germany....and the wife of the family shat brix at the fact that we had an entire aisle in the grocery store devoted to nothing but cookies. She was in disbelief for a week and she would mention it at least once or twice a day. In America, cookie is srs business.mirkosp wrote:I don't have oreos over here.

I still remember how Matty (from NewZealand) called oreos "fatty biscuits" when we had some on our drive back from AWA.
