My god exercise gotten slack recently, lol. Though i guess silver is still something to brag about.
Um, I'm in pretty good overall health. Not as good as when i was in highs chool (i could do 50 situps/push ups in 1 minute ... i can do like 35 of both now in the same time : /) but still pretty good. I go to the Metro YMCA and work out there, mostly biking and weight training. I'm actually pretty strong for someone as short as myself. I use 40lb dumbbells when doing free weights and lifting exercises. My cardiovascular health ... that's a different story. I try running, but because i have such a solid frame now it's hard to train my legs to get into the same shape. So i can only run like 15 minutes before stopping ....on a good day, lol. I use to do boxing with a punching bad i had, but i've moved and left it behind .... i should get another one, that was some good stress relief.
What a difference three years can make ...I want my high school body back dammit! lol

During the spring/winter/fall, I was hiking about 6 miles uphill daily. It took me about 2 hours, which was in the middle of my day. It certainly was a luxury because now I've slacked off since it's really hot and muggy. Now I tend to do more lifting and ab stuff...but I also cut back on what I eat when I'm not that active, and eat really healthy stuff. I miss my hiking ;_; For now it's swimming and some running when it cools down at night.

I work for UPS, every morning I spend four hours running back and forth throwing... ur um... gently placing heavy packages in three of those big brown trucks. After two years on the job I'm still a scrawny little weasel, but a scrawny little weasel with good muscle definition. I also have more energy and just feel a lot healthier then I did before I had a regular outlet for physical exertion.

How is it? I've never heard a single bad thing about working for them.

I actually love my job. I exercise I get every morning is just one of the benefits. The other would be the outstanding, free, health insurance. On the down side my job is only part time, so I have to find a second job if I want any sort of real financial security. Still that's another thing UPS is actually good for, they're a very college student friendly outfit and since the part time shifts are either early morning or late night they tend not to interfere with daily schedules.

I put my "bike" in front of the tv and occasionally ride it... when my sister calls I ride it sometimes... I always feel like I should be doing something when I'm on the phone, but I get too distracted if I'm on the computer O.o I should get a new headset that way I can talk and have my hands free :3

Scob-face has made me walk around the mall and walmart sometimes... he gets bored staying home all the time, he's kinda like the puppy I need to take out for walkies once in a while.

It's more exorcise than I got last year though... I was really unmotivated and didn't want to do anything...

I'm hardly motivated... I kinda miss having dance classes... and asthma sucks... a lot. I wish I could run around like a little kid again :/

Currently, I want it to be hotter here so I can swim at night. I hate swimming with people around :/ unless its friends... though I have no friends that live here (cept scob). I'm very anti-social with the people here, but the last time I did end up swimming with someone who live around here, I got the distinct vibe that I was imposing on someone's pool sex. The fact she "didn't have a bathing suit" was a dead give away :/

I vote we all get one of those bike powered computes.

Also, I'm surprised at how many people here are actually (or trying to get) in shape. Moar pawa tu da nurds!

This is why I took up fencing at school. Stabbing people is always fun!

Ladies and gentlemen, perfect illustration of why I am absolutely terrified of our new head admin :uhoh:

I tried a bunch of sports, and there's some I still would. I haven't quite found my game yet, so to speak.

For me there's a slight complication of course - I haven't got a competitive bone in my body. I've never had much of an interest in either winning or showing off my skills at any sport. If I tended to show off anything, it was my remarkable insubordination to any authority. I took karate when I was about 9 years old - the coach was probably the only coach I had who kept his cool around me while pretty much throwing me to the floor at any opportunity and tempting me to get up again. Instead of getting up however, I would laugh and slither away from him on the floor, for which I earned the honorable title of "the Great Worm". I never made it far in actual skill, since I don't think I was getting much out of it other than kicks (literally and contextually).

When I did competitive swimming, the moment one of my coaches tried to impose authority on me, it meant WAR. We used to run on a track around our large olympic-sized pool.... I ran backwards. And that's just one of many examples.

Point is, I work well on a team, but on a team where there are equals and the goal is fun. As soon coaches and big goals come into play, I start making fun of everyone and messing up the game. So competitive team sports have never been quite for me.

I remembered now that I used to be hugely into street hockey throughout my highschool. In the summer me and the neighbourhood kids would literally play 8 hours a day. Wish I could pick that up again.
