For someone who's asking for people's help, you're acting like quite a dick. By the time you finally decide on a set of standards that will tell us exactly the kind of band you're looking for, we'll give you a suggestion and you'll tell us that you already listen to them and are looking for something different.Earl6282 wrote:*sigh* You don't get it, do you?Flint the Dwarf wrote:Well then why don't you decide what you want?Earl6282 wrote:How mature...
It's the General Music forum, and I'm looking for music here.
Fast music: okay, we've got yodeling, techno (stated above), certain classical, Irish folk, and various styles of metal
Heavy music (depending on definition): hard rock, and various styles of metal
Since you don't necessarily want metal, and won't take our suggestions because they're "off-key" or screamy, you can choose between yodeling, techno, classical, hard rock, and Irish folk (or toned-down, mainstream metal like Linkin Park or Godsmack). I'm sure there are some people who can suggest some of these to you. In fact, go ahead and try out Finntroll, but they might be a little too screamy for you.
I didn't say I didn't want things screamy. I said I hated it when the screaming and guitars and crash symbols all seem to blur together. I said good, fast and heavy songs that would be good for AMVs. For AMVs. Take it in, slowly if you have to, and use your head. You can't make a good AMV when your song is more white noise than music.
When I said I wanted fast and heavy, it included an implied suggestion for you to use your imagination, if you have such a thing. But instead, you turned to yodeling and irish jigs. Yeah, they're fast, but nothing close to what I'm looking for. Looks like they never taught your the concept of reading in between the lines. Maybe that's why you're so useless.
Jesus, at least Sammy admits being an asshole.
