Re: Vent Thread
I understand Yue, really I do. But I have to say that the whole basing bonus pay off of AND threatening your job over what YOU CAN'T CONTROL is off the bullshit chart totally. I've had to deal with the numbers vs your job thing, but at least with me I was the only one who determined whether I made it or not for the most part. My advice is to get out if you can, get out as soon as possible. Now that I'm moved I'll be trying to do the same with my job >__> Also, I baked you a muffin.

So, apparently while I was away, my hours changed and nobody bothered to leave me a message about it :/
:edit/ Apparently the hours haven't changed. There was just no one there at the office :/

Re: Vent Thread
Man, fuck this week so far. On Tuesday, I spent the day combating a fruit fly infestation instead of cleaning out my car like I was supposed to, so that I can sell it. I also got a call from a girl at work AT HOME ON MY DAY OFF, because she feels like "there's some tension between us at work" (this tension probably being that I dislike her quite a bit, but it would be unprofessional of me to show it). This + fruit flies stressed me out so much that insomnia reared its ugly head again and I got virtually no sleep. Yesterday, I got screamed at by my boss right before leaving work, when I wasn't even on the clock, for talking to a coworker about the situation with the coworker who called me at home. She didn't even initially say why she was mad; she just screamed at me to get out. Today, I dropped a beer bottle when I was stocking the cooler and had to clean up the resulting mess; then later the heavens unleashed their fury and we lost power for over an hour, which on the plus side meant I got to sit around and do nothing for an hour, but on the downside meant I was sitting around in the dark while everyone around me was chatting in Korean. Then I get home, and go to take a nap, only to step in a puddle on the floor and so discover that my roof has developed a leak mere INCHES from my bed, so tomorrow I have a bunch of errands to run and I STILL need to clean out my car if it's not pouring buckets, but I can only do this after waiting around after work for my landlord to come look at my roof. >__________<

Sounds pretty shitty, but keep your head up, and it'll get better. Just keep calm, even when people are yelling at you, and it'll turn out alright. (Man, I sound like a fortune cookie, but it's what I've realized, fucking thank you Tao.) Hang in there, aes!

When you work for the healthcare industry, the pinnacle of human greed when they sue your company is absolutely fucking mindblowing.

Are we talking doctors or insurance? Because if the doctors fucked up badly, I wouldn't actually blame them [assuming they're not asking for like a milliion dollars because they did something small]Castor Troy wrote:When you work for the healthcare industry, the pinnacle of human greed when they sue your company is absolutely fucking mindblowing.![]()
