Imagine an inner city lyre bird. Every single night 911 would be jammed with calls about hearing gunfire and some pimp beating up his ho but the police would never find anyone doing anything wrong.

If I had one of these I'd have it listen to some of my favorite stand-up routines over and over again. Every once in a while I'd be greeted with little snippits of comedy. It would be grand.

Wow, that's damn fascinating. I knew about the New Caledonian crows, but as a linguist the way the parrot was processing the questions fascinated the hell out of me :o
