Speed and complexity do not necessarily constitute greatness :wink: Page was great at getting emotions across through Led Zeppelin's music. Just listen to his solos, they're so full of life, as if he was singing through his guitar (much like some say Jimi Hendrix could). I could play something fast, and I can play something complex, but I am not a great musician :wink:

yeah, Chet Atkins really was amazing. And a shout-out to the late, great John Fahey as well, as long as we're giving the old timers their due. The guy turned the folk world upside-down in the fifties.
