YaY! I get to go to my first concert this saturday :)

Let's see, the two concerts I've been to:

The first was a Crossbreed, Godhead, and Rammstein triple header. That fucking kicked ass.

The second (and most recent) was a Kidney Thieves, 16 Volt, and KMFDM triple. It was so-so. Took too long to get to KMFDM, and they mostly played stuff off their new album. It wasn't too bad, but they could've played more of their old stuff

. Oh well, we got "Godlike" out of it, which raised the roof.

I agree with Chaos Angel. Go into it for the music and leave your money in the car. Well, bring enough to get something to drink. Actually, that'll probably cost as much as a used Incubus CD.

I've never been to a really huge concert like that, but have fun and just try to take it all in. Make it something to remember.

Don't worry about the inflated prices buy what you can because you never feel that its been a waste. After the concert you think about the money but then you realise that you saw a cool band and the merchandise you got was part of that experience. Im not rich but Ive spent over a grand on tool concerts and accompaning merchandise and Ive never looked back it all means something different to me regardless of how shitty and inane it really is.
