Country wasn't bad before it went pop in the 90's and started promoting its stars like rock stars. Well, a lot of it sucked before that too, but at least the good stuff could get on the radio then. Now country music stations (most of whom use the slogan "Today's hot new country!") won't even touch Willie Nelson or Hank Williams Jr.

Have you heard his new CD? It's all cover songs, and he actually does a cover of a Depeche Mode song.FirestormXIII wrote:Go listen to some Johnny Cash. I just picked up a 'Best of' CD by him and it's not typical country (most of it). I can't refute number 5 at all though, they do have the most annoying voices this side of the universe.

Grungetta of More Than Toast did a Cowboy Bebop video about Faye, and it was set to Brooks & Dunn - Rock My World (Little Country Girl)zimbach wrote:So, would you, or has anybody, put together an AMV around a country-western song? I don't think I've ever seen one, unless you count that "Canyonero" video.
