He's perma-banned from posting on the forums, but that doesn't stop him from harassing members. AFAIK he possesses some sock puppet accounts as well, so to some extent I wonder whether trying to root him out completely would only make him more active...

Regardless, try to ignore him. A troll is a troll is a troll. The more attention you pay to him, the... oh, you know.
On the other hand I don't want to dismiss the offense caused by this guy; I know other members have complained over the last few months and I'll talk to the other mods and see if something can be done. Sadly the best remedy for persistent trolls is still the cold shoulder rather than the ban hammer, in my experience.
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

While you're right in some ways George, I don't think ignoring Cornwiggle is the best answer here. In my experience, trolls who want attention will go away quickly if you ignore them. Trolls who are there to torment you, however, tend to be remarkably more persistent, and while you are right in that they will give up and go away eventually if you ignore them, that takes time, and the stress and emotional strain in the meantime is not to be underestimated. That being said, I don't know how much power you have to keep him from harassing users if he is already permabanned. Perhaps some kind of word scrambler as was used for Hatter? I know, too, that you guys have no power over other forms of communication outside the org. My advice to you, silverknight2015, is to block him wherever you can, ignore him where you can't, and if you have to engage him, don't argue with him or get emotional. Don't even try to argue with him using logic, because trolls and logic are about as synonymous as youtube and quality. Blow him off, make light jokes, make sure he knows you don't give a crap about him, because as horrible as he and his ilk are to deal with, they are a bunch of insecure, miserable human beings who aren't happy unless they are picking on someone they know can't physically punch them in the face. :P

I also noticed a pattern in "Cornwiggle stalking victims" is that he begs them to watch his videos AND WON'T STOP. I kept coming up with bullshit like "I'm busy and I'll watch it later" which was a mistake because he got really persistent about it. :x

Just tell him flat out that he's a terrible editor and you'll never watch any of his stuff again. Of course, I decided to be fair and watched some of his youtube videos and he's quite awful. :dino:

I laugh at how Cornwiggle has a dating profile on the internet.

.....

But yeah what everyone else said, just ignore him when you can.

I'm legit surprised he's still around. This is what, five or six years now?

About the emotional thing. This account is used by a small group of AMV editors who share their works and post and monitor things on my behalf, but I'm the one that primarily owns it. Of course the downside is that I bare the brunt of whatever jerk decides to screw with us.

With that said, I'm deployed in Afghanistan with the military right now with one more month in my tour before I go home. AMV's have pretty much been my only source of entertainment over here.

Recently, I attempted to send a number of emails to my family and my wife wishing them a happy new year, and hoping to see them soon when I get back to the states...... UNFORTUNATELY, I was NEVER able to send those emails.....

Cornwiggle, spammed my email box today with hundreds of spam emails, overloading my email box and effectively locking down my account. Due to security issues here on base, I have to wait a week, before I'm approved to use a different email account to EMAIL MY FAMILY!!

The guy just got between me and my family over some childish issue regarding AMV's. I've been pretty patient with him up until now. And it wasn't until now that I realize that he has absolutely no regard for the well-being of others. He does not care about anyone.

And when I think about risking my life everyday to protect this jerk's freedom so that he can ruin my New Years and my Family's New Years, I start to wonder if he's worth my blood and sweat.
