Agreed with the above post. Honestly, most Hard metal steers away from being repetitive by splitting up songs into parts, which lead into each other yet sounds completely different by utilizing different instrutments and disortions, making for a very epic feel.

Seriously, you want repetive? Hard rock from the 80s. Last thing I need is the same riff on repeat while someone tells me to rock hard or turn up the volume for 4 minutes.

MY NARROW MINDED SCOPE OF MUSIC? you're confusing my destructive critisism with what you percieve as "narrow minded." In fact I have an extremely broad taste for music, music that doesn't suck. You probably also misinterpreted that statement, so to clarify my definition of a shitty band or artist let me say that I only recognize bands/artists that are the most talented musicians of their genre, on few occasions I will listen to some bands/artists that in fact "suck" at what they do just for the reason that I think they sound good, such bands include Mortician, Cannibal Corpse, and Circle of Dead Children. I know I sound hypocritical when I cut down music I don't like, but the truth of the matter is I just like to spark argumentative conversations just to see others reactions. With that said let me give some credit where it is due.

-Iced Earth(well-rounded musicians, good fan support, but gay-ass lyrics and album themes)

-Nightwish(pretty good musicians, original, but needs to shoot their singer, whoever comes up with the themes for their songs and albums, and whoever decided to call the band Nightwish)

-Fear Factory(decent riffs and drum solos, good double-base, but the singing is extremely homosexual and every song starts EXACTLY THE SAME FUCKIN WAY)

-Ramma Gay(I don't have anything good to say about them, they suck)

-Dragon Force(the first 30 seconds of the first Dragon Force song I ever heard, it was also the last, I thought to myself that I might actually like the band, then the singing came in and I realized they were called Dragon Force)

-Napalm-Death(in all actuallity they are a good band, its just that I personally hate all the Napalm-Death fans I have ever met and talk down to them and hate them for that sole reason)

these are some of the only bands that I despise but will give any credit to as musicians. (a little piece of me just died)

1. you are a young teenager who thinks calling people gay is a) insulting and b) funny

OR

2. you are one of those closet metal heads that was quiet and "mysterious" at school and no one ever called you a fag for liking metal cuz no one knew you did. So you think such an attempted insult is appropriate for a stiuation where your opinion is opposed. Which clearly means you have no intelligent way of expressing what you need to say because you cant back up your statements and opinions with facts, you call people fag. The laughing and spitting here should be directed towards your asinine comments.

I wasn't calling you narrow-minded because you think those bands are "gay." I was calling you narrow-minded because, so far, you've shown your tastes to be purely one-sided. Not only that, the only times I've heard you talk about a non-death metal band has been calling it gay or talentless or both. And then when someone clearly shows a preference for power metal, you call him a fag. You've stated before that the only person with taste on this whole forum is Kai, who predominantly shows an interest in death metal but is knowledgeable about pretty much every other kind. Then you say you like power metal like Unearth... well, from what I've heard of Unearth, they're more melodic death metal.

I won't even argue that Tono's being just as narrow-minded by calling all death metal repetitive and talentless, but you haven't shown yourself to even be able to listen to something that isn't at least 4/5 screaming. Until just now, it seemed like you couldn't even admit that some non-death metal bands have talent. Don't be so surprised that I saw you as narrow-minded.

You proved my point quite well though thank you. You dont have an argument, you can only make sarcastic comments and call people fag, you're not smart enough to actually form and opinion and defend it.

Oh and no one is going to waste their time researching your posts. The only reason why people are even acknowledging your comments is to prove you dont win here. Great we're all fags, now what? what did you win? not the argument or anything that has to do with the topic of this thread thats for damn sure.
