Yes, I need help here. I'm looking for a funny and appropriate theme song for Hakkai from Saiyuki for a comedy AMV I'd like to create. Thus far I'm completely stumped - most of the ideas I have are stretching things a bit (so much so that I'm not going to bother listing them here because no one would "get" them!). I'd prefer the song to be immediately recognizable to the audience (i.e. no obscure titles or obscure artists) and be able to get laughs: 1. for its depiction of some aspect of Hakkai's character or history and/or 2. the way in which the song is interpreted when applied to Hakkai.
Some examples include focusing on Hakkai's penchant for crazy driving; his teacherish, polite, lecturing habits; his ability to hold win drinking contests; his incredible good luck etc. Any and all suggestions will be greatly appreciated! Also, the entire song will not be used, just the most appropriate minute-or-so.
Btw, similar aid with a theme for Son Goku will be a big help. So far my best option is Weird Al's "Eat It," but I would rather find another song if I could since it will entail some creative editing to make the lyrics fit with his situation. Thanks all!
A comedic theme song for Cho Hakkai

The songs themselves shouldn't really be comedic...I guess I forgot to mention this.
A very rough example of something would be Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" (or whatever the title is) used for Hakkai's method of demon destruction. It's not funny enough or general enough to work for what I have in mind, but this is the kind of humor I'm going for.

*is presently reading Saiyuki, thus in the mood for this*
Problem is, Hakkai is a fairly serious character, but without a lot of overdone aspects that comedy could hang on. He's not overly angsty, which would be one thing to mess with. He doesn't have a lot of sticky-outy habits, either - there are things he does, but no extremes; but he's a pretty mild character all around. That makes it harder to take it to goofy extremes.
My first thought was to go directly for the Extreme Wrong: Kanan. I've heard Soft Cell's "Tainted Love" suggested as a joke song for Hakkai and Kanan, although I'd probably go for something else. What, I'm not sure, but something else. Oh, there's always the obvious irony (?) angle like "Happy Together" by the Turtles, with that incredibly cheesy shot of them running hand in hand through the fields and then CARNAGE. YAY.
...but that's a different kind of funny, namely, extremely wrong funny.
