:::cries::: they did a remix of O fortuna Carmina Burana by Carl orff!!!!!
Other remix I know, im against but sounds good, but still against!
Phantom of the Opera (I heard it on one AMV i had)
Multiple Beethoven songs (in heavy progressive fats paced metal)
Soundtrack of Fifth element "Techno Opera"
now, if you want techno like instrumental
Check soundtrack of Symphony of the Night (Castlevania)
Within Temptation
man im blank on this one, I had a webpage containing techo classical musics, sample mp3 but I lost the bookmark.
Anathema Remixes (not the Metal band called Anathema, its very hard to find, I ran into through some .jp site) but they had what ur looking for.
I have another mp3 from the same site, called exdelta.mp3 hopefully that can help you. However that music is more like a good reminder of playing SNES, midnight rider or something, where your in a car racing in the night time of downtown with like a futureistic sonic type of music.
magna is another mp3 I got from that site.
So do a search on Exdelta Magna and Anathema together.
It should be a japan site.
Also, Hrmm, I just recalled it, Carmina Burnana techno version, I remeber who does it, I remeber hearing it at the goth club few days ago
Apoptheosis is the name of the artist who remixxed it.
Cause i was in shocked when I recognized the music and went to the cute DJ girl and asked her who this is.
Im check LA "Dungeon" or "Perversion", she posts her play list so, it should be there and the exact name of the song remixxed to if its not called O-fortuna carmina burana.

I think DDR or some other weird game had a collection of CDs called "Classical Speed" or something to that effect. It's kinda bland techno and terrible "performances" of the pieces, but there are some nice selections (Khatchaturian's Sabre Dance and one of Dvorak's Slavonic Dances, I think).
I feel bad for any composer who's work has become public domain. Lucky for them they're dead.

I found a crappy techno remix of "Lake in the Moonlight" by Tchaikovsky that purported to be from the Waterworld soundtrack, but I don't recommend it.
bond and Vanessa Mae do a lot of more electric sounding versions of classical pieces, you may want to check them out.
