another good power/progressive band, simular to evergrey but not as good IMHO. many samples at their site, worth checking em out.

I won a free copy of Andy Kuntz solo album, Abydos. Definately a surprise hit for me.

And, I'm sorry, but Vanden Plas sound nothing like Evergrey. They don't sound even close.

If you like Vanden Plas, check out Missa Mercuria. Sorta rock-opera thing that involves guys from Vanden Plas.

Hm ... heard a song of Abydoss yesterday, it´s the band of Andy Kunze (the lead singer if you shouldn´t know). Definietly worth listening.
