Queen and their odd lyrics...

Lately I've been sampling alot of Queen's stuff. Alot of it is quite good and the lead singer as a excellent voice(ya it be high and semi-girl but it's quite nice actually). Anyways, some songs are ruined with horrid lyrics, just now in "Life is Real", we hear the lyric "breast feeding myself..." which is just like :shock: it's a metaphor but still!

Other things are ruined just by the name of the song, I don't have much hope in ever liking "Fat Bottomed Girls" :roll:


The try saving grace is that pretty much everything on their last album released in '95 is damn good. Though Motherlove seems a bit creepy at times...

"FBG" is supposed to be funny, you know. ;)

Anyhow IMO few things beat "Seven Seas of Rhye" in that department. Sounds like random lines overheard at a renaissance festival mixed with a superhero fantasy. I love that song. 8)

I'll have to listen to some Queen again, it's been a while... after reading <i>Good Omens</i> I remembered them again. :)
