Punk referred to a genre, not a person.

I hope this goes some way to teach you that what people post isn't automatically the first thing you assume. That wasn't even meant to be any insult, not even close.

Oh yes, noone is out to get you. There's no need to be that defensive in the forums. There's a casual joke, a comment, a bit of an insult sometimes... but it doesn't usually go far if you let it slip. Trust me, even if someone calls you an ass on the forums - a) it doesn't automatically make you an ass or destroy your forum reputation b) it doesn't automatically mean that person's comment right.

Remember, most stuff that makes people not like you or make you look stupid is not stuff they write about you, but stuff you write about or to them.
