Sting/Police

So, anybody else notice a lot of Police songs are listed under Sting and "I'll Be Missing You" is named as both a Sting and Police song?

I mean, Sting was IN the Police, was most of the band... but the Police is so different from Sting's solo stuff. Youz guyz gotta check your MP3 labels more accurately!

I once saw a bebop movie video that thought that Knockin' On Heaven's Door was recorded by Led Zeppelin

....and it was the G'n'R version ><

Then there was that video that thought "Space Oddity" was called "Major Tom to Ground Control"...

Yes, it's listed wrong because people are idiots.

That annoys me, and so does U2's "Mysterious Ways" being listed as "She moves in mysterious ways". What the fuck. They asked for the title, not the freaking chorus, moron.

It makes it so obvious that these dopes downloaded the songs they used - because the right artists/titles are RIGHT ON THE FRICKING CD.

It's pretty annoying when a song's lyrics is assumed as the song title. It won't be long before we see Emerson Lake and Palmer's "Karn Evil 9: 1st Impression-Part 2" be renamed to "Welcome back my friends to the show that never ends."

Then again I have yet to see a video done to that song. Would probably make a pretty cool video, though.

i don't worry about misslabels...mostly cause most of my mp3s are rips from my own cds roughly 90%
